Terms & Conditions

HHAV provides home automation, security system installation, audio/visual solutions, IT infrastructure, managed services (MSP), and software driver licensing. All services are subject to separate service agreements where applicable.

HHAV reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at its sole discretion.

All software drivers developed by HHAV are licensed, not sold. Purchase of a license grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the driver on a single authorized device.

Each license key is tied to a specific Control4 Director MAC address. The license may not be used on more than one device simultaneously. If you replace your hardware, contact HHAV to have the MAC address transferred.

Unauthorized redistribution, resale, sublicensing, or reverse engineering of any HHAV software is strictly prohibited and may result in legal action.

Trial licenses are valid for 7 days from the date of issuance. They are intended for evaluation purposes only and may not be used in production environments beyond the trial period.

One trial per person per product. Abuse of the trial system may result in denial of future access.

The Director MAC address provided during trial registration will be locked to that trial key. It cannot be reused for another trial.

All payments are processed securely through Stripe. HHAV does not store or have access to your payment card information.

Prices are displayed in USD unless otherwise noted. Applicable taxes may apply based on your jurisdiction.

Refund requests for driver licenses must be submitted within 14 days of purchase and before the license key has been activated. Once a key is activated and tied to a MAC address, it is considered used and non-refundable.

Service fees for installation, consulting, or managed services are governed by your individual service agreement.

All HHAV software, documentation, branding, and content are the exclusive property of HHAV. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property to you.

Third-party trademarks (including Schlage and Control4) remain the property of their respective owners. HHAV is not affiliated with or endorsed by these companies unless explicitly stated.

HHAV software and services are provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. HHAV does not warrant that software will be error-free or uninterrupted.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HHAV shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of our services or software, including but not limited to loss of data, property damage, or security incidents.

You agree not to use HHAV services or software for any unlawful purpose, to harass or harm others, to circumvent security systems, or to violate any applicable laws or regulations.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

Domain registration services are provided through HHAV's registrar partners. HHAV manages domain registration, DNS, SSL, hosting, and renewal services on behalf of customers. HHAV is not an ICANN-accredited registrar.

Domain registrations, renewals, transfers, and cancellations are subject to the policies of the relevant registry and registrar partner, including ICANN requirements and, for .ca domains, the CIRA Registrant Agreement. You are responsible for providing accurate registrant contact information and for renewing domains before their expiry to avoid interruption.
